Saint Laurent revives four rare Charlotte Perriand furniture designs brings modernist history back to life, merging luxury fashion with timeless craftsmanship. Debuting at Salone del Mobile in Milan from April 8 to 13, this exclusive collection resurrects pieces that previously existed only as sketches or prototypes, now meticulously reproduced as limited-edition, made-to-order creations.
Curated by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the collection features the Rio de Janeiro bookcase, 'Indochina' guest armchair, 'Mille-feuilles' table, and a sculptural sofa initially designed for the Japanese ambassador’s residence in Paris. Each piece embodies Perriand’s architectural brilliance and Saint Laurent’s commitment to design heritage.
Accompanying the exhibition, Saint Laurent Editions will offer collectible books and a catalog of the collection, with photography exhibits in Paris and Milan. This rare collaboration celebrates not just furniture but also a legacy of craftsmanship, elevating Perriand’s modernist vision into today's luxury world.
