Faith Demirci is the creative mind behind the Korka organizer, which is a sustainable desktop solution for keeping small items in place and the desk tidy. The Korka concept reimagines the eco-friendly material and transforms it into a renewable resource on the desk.
It keeps items including clips and dividers out of the way using the natural friction that would gently hold onto the objects. The simple design ensures a minimal construction as well. In terms of the structure, the Korka has a grid of cork cubes which are visually arranged in a clean pattern. These intersections sit perfectly in the circular holes that it create to hold cylindrical items such as pencils and markers.
