The Beyond Steak Chimichurri Burrito has been created by fast-casual Mexican restaurant group Tortilla as a new menu item with Beyond Meat to provide customers with a plant-based take on a classic recipe.
The menu item is making its way to participating restaurants in the UK starting January 2 through February 6, 2025 or while stock lasts and will be the perfect option for those partaking in Veganuary. The burrito boasts tender, juicy Beyond Steak with Chimichurri Mayo, Mexican rice, pinto beans, guacamole, sweetcorn salsa, pickled pink onions and tortilla chips in a warm tortilla.
Food Director at Tortilla James Garland spoke on the Beyond Steak Chimichurri Burrito saying, "We’re proud to partner with Beyond Meat to be the first fast-casual restaurant group in the UK to launch Beyond Steak. Our new Beyond Steak Chimichurri Burrito is packed with juicy, meaty flavour, offering a plant-based option so delicious, the whole nation will be cheating on meat this Veganuary!”
